Skye is an absolutely adorable blue and tan Chiweenie. She is around a year old and weighs about 10 lbs. She just loves everyone and loves to be showered with attention. She gets along fine with other dogs, large and small. She has not been tested with cats. Skye was brought into the shelter with her sister Azure and many other dogs. She is housebroken when kept on a schedule and once you know her indication that she wants to go out. She will also use potty pads inside the house. Skye loves to be held and wants to be next to someone all of the time. She loves everyone and just loves the attention her adorable blue face gets. She is not partial to men or women and even likes big burly guys with beards. She would do best in a home with a fenced yard because she is small and could get away very easily. She also absolutely adores children. At night she sleeps in the big bed with her foster brothers deep into the covers. She does show some signs of separation anxiety when left alone. When she first came into foster care she was almost bald on her back all of the way to the tip of her tail. Much of the fur has started to fill in in the past two weeks. Now that she has found her comfort zone in her foster home she has started to play with the other dogs. She does not show any interest in playing with toys.
