My name is Frankie and I want to tell you about myself. The Vet estimated that I am approximately 6 1/2 years old. My Foster Mom says I have the most beautiful red smooth coat she has ever seen (and felt). No one really knows my life story other than that I was raised in a puppy mill. When Little Paws rescued me I was so malnourished I was a walking skeleton. They took me to a really nice doctor who said I needed to have 12 teeth pulled (did I say nice?) but my Foster Mom says I’m still very handsome. She also says I’m really smart because I learned to go through the doggie door in two tries! Sometimes I don’t always make it out through the doggie door at which point my Foster Parents have had what they call a “prayer meeting” and I am scolded. I prefer to be on leash when I go out to the potty (I don’t know why but I just do). I’m crate trained but I do not like it because I prefer to sleep in the big bed with my Foster Parents and Tugger the Golden Retriever. I’m not a yappy dog but will gladly chime in when Tugger gets excited. He and I do play together - he finds a toy to play with and I take it from him and run like crazy. My Foster Parents just laugh and laugh when we play. They keep telling me that somewhere out there is a family who is looking for a companion just like me but until then they will love me like I’m their own. I promise I will shower you with kisses, beg for belly rubs and curl up in your lap if you would please consider filling out an application and adopting me.

TRANSPORTATION HELP!
If you see a furbaby that would be a match for your family, please don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
