Sadie is a beautiful 3 year old female black and tan dachshund /cocker spaniel mix. She was rescued from a high kill shelter in South Carolina after being picked up as a stray.  Sadie was very scared and took a few days to know she was safe.  She had some separation anxiety to begin with when her foster mom left for work or walk ed out the door.  Now that she knows she is safe that seems to no longer be an issue.  She gets along well with children.  Her foster mom has 2 grandchildren that live in the house ages 4 and 5 and then 4 other grandchildren from ages 9 months to 7 years that have also been around her and she seems to love children.  As far as cats, she thinks they are a dog too.  The cat will sit right beside her and neither one moves (cat also thinks he is a dog).  However, she does tend to like to sneak into the litter box.  She is housebroken but can have an accident if she is not let out.  Sadie will go in the crate with a treat, but will also be perfectly fine left to roam for short periods. She shows no sign of destructive tendencies.  Sadie is a very sweet and loving furbaby.  She seems to love both men and women and happy to be with both.  She did have some training as she knows the command to sit and she stands on her hind feet for a treat.

TRANSPORTATION HELP!
