Hi my name is Harley. I am an adorable, healthy and sweet 3 year old Dachshund wire hair looking for a family to call my own. I was rescued from a high kill shelter in GA and am now living with my foster family in Greenville, SC.

My foster home is a lot of fun. I love my parents, fellow foster brother Sonny and my 2 sisters Bella and Fergie. They are teaching me how to play with other dogs and toys. I am afraid of the cats so I will probably do better in a cat-free home. I am learning how to walk on a leash and am almost potty trained but still have accidents if not taken out frequently. I sleep in my crate at night and barely make a peep until it’s time to get up and have breakfast. Oh, and I just LOVE meal time…I dance and jump around while Mom is fixing breakfast & dinner. She thinks I am pretty silly!

I am a bit shy when first meeting you but it doesn’t take me long to come out of my shell. I love my people, especially my Daddy and give out lots of kisses.

Please won’t you bring me home?  Mom is helping me write a letter to Santa because my wish is to have a great family in time for Christmas.  I am a total love bug who just wants to curl up in your lap and have my belly rubbed.
