Happy is a sweet, gentle boy and lives up to his name. Happy was in a shelter
for three months before being rescued and he is certainly grateful for a warm
bed. Happy is estimated to be 8 to 10 years old but honestly has the energy of
a younger dog.  After being quite underweight, Happy is now a nearly perfect
11.8 pounds. He is a loyal guy who loves his people and also gets along well
with other dogs and the small child in his foster home.  He does well on a leash
and enjoys walks around the neighborhood. He is crate trained and sometimes goes
into his crate during the day (with the door open) just to nap. He needed a little
time to regain his good potty habits but he is great at doing his business
outside now. He deserves a great family to call his own. Could you be the one

CT & RI RESIDENTS – At this time we are not registered with these states and are unable to adopt to residents.  The process to register is lengthy and will take some time.  We are currently working on this process

If you see a furbaby that would be a match for your family, please don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption.  LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
