Fitzy is a 22 month old dachshund mix. He is house trained, has lots of energy, is shy but warms up and can be protective over his human. He loves to sleep in the big bed, loves to play, chew bones and sit on your lap. Fitzy does well with positive reinforcement.

He would do best as an only dog but is good with cats and with respectful children. Fitzy would also love a fenced yard! You will never be alone with Fitzy!

Adoption Fee: $275.00 + $35.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law). Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $125 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.
