Adoption Fee:  $175.00 + $35.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law).  Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $125 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.

My Name is Angel. I am a young, sweet girl. I love people, but am a little shy, at first. I had a terrible mishap with a car and my back leg was broken in many pieces. I lived alone in the woods scared and in pain for 4-6 weeks before the animal control caught me and called Little Paws to come save my life. They could not care for me properly because of my leg and I was very emaciated from living on my own for so long, so Ms Debbie picked me up and held me close and told me I was safe now. She took me to the vet and they took very good care of me. I lost my leg, but I really dont miss it because I couldnt use it anymore. I get along fine without it, I even run down the steps and across the yard to play with my foster brothers and sisters. I have to admit, though, I would rather snuggle and get belly rubs from my foster mom, Ms.Debbie. She lets me sleep in her bed and I snuggle up to her as close as I can get because I feel safe. My foster dad, Mr.Jim, tends to spoil me,too, and when I was in pain after my surgery, he held me in his arms up close all night. I am crate trained, and I stay in there when I feel scared or unsure. Ms.Debbie leaves my "rehab" crate open for me. I am now ready to find a new home that will know how special I am because I only need 3 legs, instead of 4. One day I may need a wheelie cart to help me go faster to get around, but I am doing just fine now without one. I am really frightened of small children and loud homes with lots of activity, so a older, quieter home would probably be better for me. Besides, after all I have been through, I think I deserve to be lavished with love and attention. My foster mommy laughs when I poke her with my nose to get her attention. I do like my foster siblings, but more than one or two scares me, so I would like to be an only dog, or just one or two siblings, PLEASE! I am 2 years old, so I have a long life ahead of me and I would love to share my love with a loving family that is as devoted to me as I will be to them. I  have been spayed, have all my shots, on heartworm and flea protection, and have a microchip. I just need a special family...Are you the one for me? Love, Angel
