Adoption Fee:  $250.00 + $35.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law).  Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $125 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.

Annabelle is a one in a million dog. She is loving, smart, cute, fun, playful and all around AWESOME. I got her from my overfull county high-kill shelter and within a few hours she left her past behind and opened up her endless love to us.

She is very playful and will fetch a ball and shake a stuffed animal and play tug. She comes when called and sits on command. We are working on housetraining and learning fast. She is so eager to please I can imagine her learning tricks very quickly. She loves a car ride and will settle down and fall asleep quickly. She may bark when she meets someone new but her tail wags and she is so excited and happy.

I have a fenced yard and a dog door and she goes in an out as she wants but her favorite thing to do is to sit  at our side, or maybe on our laps.

I have 4 dogs of my own and she quickly learned their personalities. I have one older dog who wants to be left alone and Annabelle graciously makes a wide path around him. I have a 5 month old Chihuahua mix and they are best buddies. They chase each other around the couch and then fall asleep next to each other when exhausted. I also have a 40+ pound dog and she plays with and adores.

When first coming to my house she was very curious about my 2 cats but a few hisses and dirty looks from them convinced Annabelle they weren’t much fun.

This girl is a wonderful dog! She will provide endless love and tons of fun to her new family!
