Casey is approximately 2 years old and is a full 10 pounds of awesome!!!  We rescued him from a shelter, so do not have any knowledge of his former life.  But I can tell you he is loving his second chance!!  If you want a dog to cuddle with you, this is your guy.  Or, if you want a companion to go on walks with, to play with, to tell all your secrets too... you have that with Casey.  

I introduced him into a home with 8 other dogs and within 2 minutes they were all running and playing.  Since he is new in the home and needed to be neutered, I have had him sleep in a crate.  He whines for about 2 minutes, then snuggles under the blanket and goes to sleep.  But, when he wakes you whining, he needs to go potty.  Once that door is open, go straight outside!!! Do not take a moment to put on shoes, once out of the crate he needs to go.

I feed all of them together, and he is learning to wait for his bowl to be put down.  He doesn't gobble food, takes his time and enjoys his meal.  And he LOVES treats!! Learned really quick that when I say "Come on" to get them inside, if he comes, there is a yummy treat waiting for him.  He is really eager to learn new things and to try to please you.  

He will scratch at the door or just pace in front of the door when he needs to go out, but he also has done a little marking in the house.  But hoping that will stop now that he has been neutered.  Casey is a wonderful little boy that is so happy to have a second chance at life that he will do whatever it takes to make his new forever people very happy.
