Adoption Fee:  $275.00 + $35.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law).  Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $125 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.

Hi!€ My name is Aurora and I am the happiest little girl ever! I am so glad to no longer be living the life of a breeding dog and forced to have puppies I will never see again. My foster mom says that she is so impressed with how well behaved I am and how quickly I adapted to home life. I am staying with a couple in central SC that have two dachshunds, a girl and a boy, just a little older than me. We got along just dandy right from the start. I enjoy the homemade treats my foster mom gives me and she says I behave very lady like when it’s mealtime. These folks don’t have any cats or children, but I’m sure I would be just dandy with children, because I’m just so happy-go-lucky. I sleep in the crate, but mostly enjoy snuggling down under the covers in the big bed with you. I don’t mind too much going outside on the wet ground like my foster sister. If I’m left too long I will go on a pad. My foster dad says I am soooo smart, I guess because I picked up the doggie door pretty quick and I understand what I’m being asked to do. He also says I am the happiest dog he’s seen in a while. I hope you will consider me for your new companion. I give really good kisses. Xxxx
