Hi, My name is Irving. I am an 8 year old Dachshund mix. I am looking for a forever home, a place where I can sit and snuggle with my family. My foster mom says I am the bestest snuggler around!!
I live with foster Mom and Dad and 2 senior dogs, who I like very much. I even got one of them to play with me! I brought some spunk back to this house my foster mom says. I also live with a few cats, one I like and one I don’t so it is probably best if my forever home doesn’t have any. Sometimes foster mom’s grandchildren come over to visit. I do well with them but my foster mom thinks I would be better with older children.
I like to go on walks and I love car rides! I am house broken as long as I am not left too long. I also have a crate that will come with me. I will go in my crate sometimes to have some me time – when I do this please respect my privacy.
So, what do you think? If you are looking for a companion, a real snuggler and a friend to go on a walk with you then I am your dog!! I think this might be the start of a wonderful friendship – don’t you?
If you want to know more about me please contact my foster mom Christine at Niccar14@yahoo.com

Adoption Fee: $250.00 + $45.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law). Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $135 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.
Transportation Help
If you see a furbaby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
