Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $125 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.

Hello Everyone! My name is Beck. I am a two year old Black and Tan smooth coat Dachshund. I am very mischevious and I like to play. My previous owners surrendered me because they didn't have time for me, so they stuck me in the backyard with a really big St. Bernard. I didn't like him much. But I did learn to patrol my territory. I had to keep my yard safe from those evil critters known as the Squirrel and Rabbit. But now I'm taking a liking to staying inside with my foster siblings. They are so fun to play with. I have also discovered naps! Who knew those would be so much fun? I love to snuggle up next to my foster mom. I do not like the creature called the Cat though. It makes strange noises. I don't mind riding in cars either. I look at it as being a grand adventure. I hate CRATES! I must be free! Any person I meet on my car riding adventures, I love! People are so cool. I give them kisses and they pet me. I am looking for my forever home with people that have time to give me belly rubs, take naps with me, and play with me. Will I fit into your life? I hope so!
