Batman walked up to a home in a rural area and said, “Hi, I’m here,” to the two over 80# dogs already in residence.  He is not shy at all. LPDR did our due diligence in posting FOUND announcements online and around the area where he was found. He had no collar or chip, but he sure has a terrific attitude.  He is being fostered with a fifteen-year-old Dachshund, a two year old Lab, and a three year old, very skittish “breeder drop off”.  He takes it all in stride.  As long as the toy box is full and ready – the lab is ready for a game of tug or tag and there is a lap to be had, Batman will entertain you!

He never meets a stranger.  Someone loved him and took great care of him. He does like to go outside, but he will not bark to be let back in – he will just wait patiently for you to open the door.  He is being instrumental in making the new foster ‘come out of his shell’.  He is even teaching the little guy the joys of toys!

Batman is energetic, housebroken and crate trained. He is a good eater, healthy, happy, funny, fun, and oh, so ready for a furever home that won’t let him ‘get lost’ again.

PLEASE REMEMBER: Batman will go outside and play and be happy – he will ask to go out. you will learn his quiet way of asking, but he will NOT ask to come back in!  He will simply lay down by the door and wait until someone remembers him.

He is an absolute joy – I highly recommend a high energy home for him, another fur-sibling to play tug, tag, and chew face.

RI RESIDENTS  At this time we are not registered with this state and are unable to adopt to residents.  The process to register is lengthy and will take some time.  We are currently working on this process.

TRANSPORTATION HELP!

If you see a furbaby that would be a match for your family, please don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
