Adoption Fee:  $275.00 + $35.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law).  Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $125 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.

Hi, I’m Hope. I am 5 or 6 years old. Some say I'm a real beauty with my uniquely colored coat of black with tan mingled all through it.  I don't let the compliment go to my head, though.  I am very sweet and love my humans.  I follow them everywhere when they call me.  (I used to be called "Bella" and I know to come when called by that name, too. I'm pretty smart.)  I love my foster fur sisters although I can get grumpy if they get in my space or too close to my food. I am house trained but will happy tinkle sometimes. I love to sleep in the big bed, but I am also crate trained. I had a rough time at the shelter and I'm so thankful that I was rescued!  Now all I need is a home to call my own.  Would you like to be my new family and love me forever?  You won't regret it!!!

TRANSPORTATION HELP!

If you see a furbaby that would be a match for your family, please don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption.  LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
