Adoption Fee: $150.00 + $35.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law). Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $125 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.

King is looking for his permanent castle! This 13 year old senior gentleman has impeccable manners, completely housebroken, goes with the flow of the household and learns quickly.

He currently resides in a foster home with multiple dachshunds, a bird and a cat and acts like he has been there his entire life. He has learned how to navigate through a doggie door and loves to run in the fenced in yard with his foster siblings.

Currently on Cosequin, a joint supplement, this guy has no problems keeping up with his younger furry friends. In King's mind age is just a number!

TRANSPORTATION HELP!

If you see a furbaby that would be a match for your family, please don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
