Adoption Fee: $275.00 + $35.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law). Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $125 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.
Grayson is about as adorable and loveable as they come. He weighs in at a 9 pounds and has beautiful piebald coloring. He's got one cute blue eye and an equally cute brown eye. Some of his favorite hobbies are carrying around his stuffed duck and chasing down any ball that dares to bounce or roll in his vicinity. When playtime is over, his favorite spot is curled up against you on the couch. And, though he prefers to be with his humans, if you ask him nicely he'll take a snooze in his crate.
Grayson can be shy around new people, but given a little time he'll be asking for as many belly rubs as they can offer. We haven't seen him around children, but given his sweet and gentle nature, it's hard to believe he would be anything but a perfect gentleman with anyone he meets, no matter their size.
Grayson isn't 100% house trained, but he's pretty close. Most times, he knows just what to do, but sometimes he is distracted by the outside world and he gets a little too nervous to go when he's outside. We are working with him to get him used to the sound of those big scary cars and neighbors hiding behind their fences.

TRANSPORTATION HELP!
If you see a furbaby that would be a match for your family, please don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
