Adoption Fee:  $275.00 + $35.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law).  Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $125 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.    

Hi, my name is Sam(Sammie) and my foster parents tell me I am a very handsome boy. I am a 3 and ½ year old dachshund mix.(not sure on the mix part, but I am a bit larger than most dachshunds, about 28 lbs and have a longer tail). I have a nice black coat with some brown markings to accentuate my features. 

I am  shy, but will warm up in time. I am a very loving, happy, sweet little boy that likes belly rubs J.  I get along great with my 4 legged foster brothers and sisters,  large and small, male or female, doesn’t matter to me , I just  love to play. I haven’t met any cats or children here at my foster home, so not sure how I will react. I am house trained and crate trained (but..not real thrilled with the crate).

I am looking for my forever home and my very own mom and dad to love and would do best if I had a brother or sister (dog) of my own to play with.
