Dodger is a sweet little boy… a doxie mixed with a little sheltie, we think!! Dodger was found as a stray in southern Arkansas! He is a little shy at first when meeting new people, but warms up quickly and is very friendly. He loves to meet new dogs though!! He is very friendly and loves to play with other dogs, both large and small. He loves to go for walks and play in the yard! Dodger gets along great with kids of all ages too, but we are unsure of cats! He is a smart boy and already knows how to “sit” and “lay down” for treats! With more one-on-one training, there is no telling what his limits would be!! Agility, flyball, catching Frisbees, he would be great at all of those with a little training! He catches on quick and loves to get a treat for learning any new tricks! He is not much of a barker, but will bark one or two times to alert his foster momma to someone pulling in the drive! He is still working on his potty training, but when kept on a routine, he does so good. He is starting to go to the door to let his foster momma know when he needs to go out! Dodger does well in a crate at night for bedtime (in foster momma’s bedroom) and would love to have a big fenced in yard to play in or if you don’t have a yard, he loves to go for walks to explore! He would also be a great jogging or biking companion!
