$275.00 + $35.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law). Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $125 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.  Dogs that are HW positive cannot be adopted in Massachusetts.

Lady is a beautiful dachshund-chihuahua mix that weighs approximately 15 pounds.  She loves to snuggle and be close to her people.  She can be slightly possessive of her "people" around other small dogs, as she wants all of the attention for herself.  She seems to be very comfortable around large dogs, but would also be fine as an only dog. She absolutely loves her toys, especially her chicken!   She is a strong little dog and can jump higher than you would expect, so she would need to be watched very carefully in a fenced yard...definitely no unattended play for this little lady!  If you want a sweetheart that will make you chuckle with delight at her silly antics, this is the gal for you!
