Adoption Fee:  $275.00 + $35.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law).  Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $125 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.

Katy is an adorable black & tan dachshund.  She is a playful and loving girl and enjoys cuddling very much.  She enjoys playing ball and loves her toys also.  Katy is housebroken, but not crate trained.  She is a very intelligent dog and knows some tricks! 

Katy is a vocal dachshund, so she would not be a good fit for an apartment situation as she does tend to bark when she wants something!  The barking is certainly not incessant and tends to be more when a new person is around, or she is hungry or wants to play.

Katy will make a great new best friend!
