How to contact my foster home:   Debby Jernigan ~~~ jernigan280@gmail.com

Adoption Fee:  $150.00 + $35.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law).  Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $125 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.

Grace Anne was scared and a little lost when she came to us after her family dumped her at a shelter.  But with love and some good food, her skin is perfect now and she has a thick, luxurious coat.  She did well with her heartworm treatment and is cleared of the worms and should test negative by Spring 2016.  She loves attention and usually prefers the company of her human, but gets along fine with her foster siblings. Grace has saved her house from many squirrels and is quite vocal about critters in the yard and a few neighbor cats, but loves to be outdoors. She is quick to flop over for a belly rub and is very affectionate and cuddly.  We have seen a few brief trembling episodes around the full moons that we suspect are seizures, but our vet says that unless they increase in frequency, they do not need treatment at this time.  Grace is protective of her family and needs to be watched closely when guests first come in as she has attempted to nip, but quickly makes friends.  Grace Anne is a special companion and would fit nicely in most any household without very young children.
