How to contact my foster home:   Stephanie -   sjoynermitchell@gmail.com

Adoption Fee:  $275.00 + $35.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law).  Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $125 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.

Until I was rescued, I spent my entire life inside a house. I did not know what the outside was like.  I had never touched grass or breathed the air outside.  When my foster mom got me to her house, I was able to experience the outdoors with my foster siblings and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air.  Since I was never allowed to go outside, my foster mom is trying to teach me that I should go potty outside on the green stuff she calls grass instead of in the house.  When I first got here, I was afraid of the outside and would only go outside if my foster mom went too.  She says she is trying to teach me some independence, so she will put me outside in the fenced in back yard with my foster siblings so that I will go learn to play.  I have now learned about grass and running and chasing my foster siblings.  However, I must admit, I do still LOVE LOVE LOVE to sit on my foster mom's lap and follow her around. She says I am her "Shadow"... whatever that means.. I will tell you that I do not let her heels get too far out of my site. My foster mom says I am doing better with my house manners, but I am still in training.  I didn't even know what that thing that hooks to my collar and a human holds it and expects me to follow.  My foster mom says it is called a leash.  I am learning to use that as well.  Since I love my human so much, my foster mom thinks I will also do good on a leash for potty training purposes or just to get exercise.  I love the small humans, too.  My former owner was a lady, so I am not real sure of this person my foster mom calls her "husband".  He seems nice enough though and I do like for him to pet me. I would love to sleep in the big bed with you too because I LOVE LOVE LOVE to snuggle.

Won't you give me the furever home I am looking for?
