Harley is an approximately 5 year old chocolate and tan dachshund. He was rescued from a hoarding situation in the south. He is very sweet and non-agressive, but has severe seperation anxiety issues and needs to be right with his "person" at all times. He is on Fluxotene for his anxiety and he has shown signs of improvement in a short period of time. We feel that the best adopter for Harley would be someone that is home quite often and would be willing to invest in further training for Harley. He is a complete snuggle bug and absolutely loves to cuddle up next to you. For the right home he will make a great dog! Adoption Fee: $275.00 + $35.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law). Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $125 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.
