Theo is a 2 year old 13 lb hunk of love. He was rescued from a high kill shelter in Alabama along with his female mate after a whole litter of their puppies died. The owner had no use for them after that. He is laid back and reserved, but is beginning to play more often. He gets along with small and large dogs, both male and female. He is house trained as long as he is taken outside on a regular basis. He is crate trained and feels comfortable sleeping in it at night. Recently, he has shown some separation anxiety during the day if crated. We are working on breaking this. For this reason, it is preferable that he is in a home where there are people during the day. He is learning to be loved and will wag his tail when he recognizes your voice. He likes toys. He would do well with another dog, especially a female. He loves to walk on a leash. He would do best in a fenced in yard where is run and play. He loves the outdoors. He has not been around children or cats, so his reaction to them is unknown.
Theo is a wonderful doxie and will make some family very happy!
