My name is Rue. I am a young lady at 1.5 years old, weighing in at 10 pounds.
Someone put me out of the car in a bad neighborhood. Luckily some nice people convinced me to come out from under that car and found me a rescue to help me. My foster mom does not know how anyone could do that to me in the first place as I am such a sweetheart.
When I got to my foster home I wasn't too crazy about their cat, but they love her and she is part of their family so I have learned to like her too, because I am SO eager to please.
I like to sleep in the big bed with my foster mom and my foster fursiblings.
I prefer to go on a leash outside, do my business, and come back inside right away. I get a little scared if left out in the yard too long. I really just want to be with my people.

Adoption Fee: $275.00 + $35.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law). Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $125 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.

– At this time we are not registered with this state and are unable to adopt to residents. The process to register is lengthy and will take some time. We are currently working on this process
TRANSPORTATION HELP!
If you see a furbaby that would be a match for your family, please don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
