Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $125 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.  

Hi, my name is Stevie and my foster parents tell me I am a very cute little boy. I am a 2 ½ year old dachshund mix. I have a nice black coat with some white markings

I am not too active, like to sleep and snuggle, but don’t be fooled. I can be a bit devious at times, so you do need to keep and eye on me. I get along  with my 4 legged foster brothers and sisters,  large and small, male or female, doesn’t matter to me, but can get a bit grumpy at times if they push my buttons too much.  I just like to  chill and look cute.  There are not any children or cats at foster home, so not sure how I will react. I am house trained and crate trained. I did have an early stage heart worms, but after a 6 month’s and proper treatment, I am now Heartworm negative.

I am looking for my forever home and my very own mom and dad to love and chill out with, but of course, watch out for me in my “curious” times.
