Adoption Fee:  $275.00 + $35.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law).  Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $125 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.

Meet sweet Farrah! Or Blondie as her Foster mom has lovingly nicknamed her! Farrah is a 6 year old petite blonde short haired miniature dachshund! She has an overbite and her cute little teeth hang out sometimes when she is happy and excited!

    This tiny girl was rescued from a backyard breeder where she lived her life in a cage and was never shown love. When Farrah first came to her foster home she became attached quickly to her foster mom and did not like sharing her! After learning to trust and share with her fur siblings and other members of the family! She has become an absolute love bug in her foster home! She loves playing and snuggling with all the dogs and is very affectionate with everyone! Farrah has also been cat tested and is even sweet to him! This cutie loves toys and bones, but her favorite thing is cuddling in her foster family's laps!

    Farrah does very good going outside to potty if kept on a schedule and is very eager to please. Because of her background she still tends to startle easily and is very cautious of new people. When introduced properly she is a good sweet girl.

    Farrah would do best in a patient loving home as an only dog or with a fursibling after a slow introduction and a reminder to share. She does great when she is confident of her family's love and really enjoys another dogs company.

     This precious girl has so much love in her eyes and wiggles with excitement when she gets attention and tummy rubs. Farrah deserves lots of love after so many lonely years in a cage. She has the potential to be a wonderful companion with a little patience and love.
