Indigo is a 4 month old loving playful puppy. Her momma was part dachshund but dad could have been a Chihuahua. She has the build of Chihuahua but it looks like dachshund markings may be coming thru. By the time she is in her new home she will be spayed, fully vaccinated, micro-chipped, wormed, and flea treated.

She was born in someone’s back yard and had a rough life for his first month but then she was rescued by Little Paws Dachshund Rescue. She is now a soft, chubby, happy puppy. She is used to grown dogs, cats, and kittens.

Indigo loves to be held. She will thrive with lots of attention from her people. She also loves to play. She enjoys stuffed animals, balls and tug toys. She also spends a lot of her time napping. Her favorite napping place is his person’s lap.

She is working on being paper/pee pad trained (he can’t learn to go outside until he is finished being vaccinated). She is catching on to the paper training fast but certainly isn’t 100% accurate.

.Adoption Fee:  $350.00 + $35.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law).  Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $125 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.
