Adoption Fee:  $275.00 + $35.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law).  Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $125 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.

Trixie is an adorable young black and tan dapple female doxie that was rescued from a Maryland shelter because her family was unable to care for her.  She is house trained and crate trained and will often hang out in her crate where she will wrap herself in a blanket. She enjoys going for walks, but if she feels threatened will bark at people and other dogs.  Like most doxies she is food motivated and eats with gusto. This is one little girl you don’t want to take food away from or a prized bone. Trixie LOVES attention! All she wants is to experience everything life has to offer with her very own family.
