Tigger is a tweenie-sized dachshund weighing in at about 15-16 pounds. He is 7 years old and is very active and playful. He is very smart and loves to please. Tigger is a dog that will definitely attach himself to his "person" and loves to just be with you all the time. Tigger is being fostered in Massachusetts.
Tigger definitely needs to be in a home with NO CATS!
Tigger can get nervous in new situations so a home without young children would be recommended. Also a home that is very active may be very stressful for Tigger. The ideal adopter for Tigger would have another dog (not necessarily a dachshund) that is low key that Tigger could spend time with and enjoy their company.

Adoption Fee: $250.00 + $35.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law). Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $125 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.
