Edie is a sweet, petite little chihuahua-dachshund mix weighing about 8 pounds.  She is estimated to be about one year old.  She is great with other dogs and respectful children.  Edie is being fostered in New Hampshire.  

Edie would do best in a home in which her family would allow her to sleep in the big bed!  She is not a big fan of the crate - she will go in, very grudgingly, but takes quite a while to settle.  Crating her during the day may stress her out, though could be used for short periods of time at first if needed when leaving the home. 

Edie is a 100% cuddler!  If you sit, she wants to be in your lap.  She is so happy when you come home, her whole body wiggles with excitement! 

She is housebroken with a regular schedule.  Edie really would be best in a home with a fenced in yard as she loves to run and play.

Adoption Fee:  $275.00 + $35.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law).  Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $125 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.
