Look into my eyes and you see one of my beautiful features: amber-colored eyes. I’m Diamond and my vet estimates that I’m around 2½-3 years old. I’m considered a mini doxie weighing in at just 12 lbs. I’m a friendly girl with impeccable house manners and don’t need much time to “warm up” to people. I love meeting new folks and enjoy my interactions with humans as well as dogs. I currently live with four other doxies and have been voted Ms. Congeniality by the other dogs. Things I like: I love giving kisses – love, love, love cuddling and being smooched (and smooching back). I also like going for a walk (I don’t even mind the rain!) Did I mention that I also like treats? Things I don’t like: I love running on carpeted floors but walk slowly, and very gingerly, on hardwood floors.

Adoption Fee: $275.00 + $35.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law). Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $125 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.
TRANSPORTATION HELP! If you see a furbaby that would be a match for your family, please don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
