Adoption Fee:  $275.00 + $35.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law).  Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $125 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.  This fee is non refundable if dog is returned.

Jilly is a sweet 16 month old character. Her birthday is 2/5/2015. When she first arrived in Rescue she was very frightened of me but immediately bonded with my husband. She has since come to trust and love me also. She is very vocal when we come home from an errand and lets you know she is so happy to see you again, her little yodels are very cute. She is an escape artist and a wanderer so a secure fenced in yard is very important. She does great on a leash and loves to ride in the car. She loves roaming the yard with our girls and chasing squirrels and birds.  She does well in a crate but does prefer to be free. I think she would do best with another companion animal to pal around with. BUT NO CATS!! I don’t know if she would hurt a cat but our cat doesn’t want to find out! And believe me, Jilly really wants that cat.

She is very smart and learned our doggie door and ramps immediately. She is mostly potty trained. She will use potty pads in the house and goes out the doggie door when the others do or when we take them out.

She has a beautiful shiny soft coat and the most expressive eyes. She loves to sleep under the covers at night or curled up between the pillows.
