Please email me with any questions you may have about this sweet girl at intake@littlepawsdr.org Hi, I'm Greta. My first 4 years have been different for a girl like me. In my first family, I was the only dog and had three human siblings. When number four was on the way, Mom decided it was just to much for her so I was rehomed. My second family loved me very much but I did not do well with my five fur siblings and so many people living in the home. My stress got the better of me one day and I nipped a child. My mom thought I would do better with a less stressful home. I'm nervous around new people but it does not take long for me to warm up if you let me in your lap. Foster mom's lap is my favorite place to be. I like my food and my second family left food down all the time so I am overweight. I get upset with my foster mom because she has me on a special diet. No fun at all but I know it best for me. I'm doing well with the fur siblings in my foster home as long as their alpha girl doesn't growl at me. I would love a quiet home with one or two laid back fur siblings but I will be fine as an only dog. I get very nervous around little children so no children please. Completing an Adoption Application: http://littlepawsdachshundrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form_humanverify?formid=2724 Adoption Fee: $275.00 + $45.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law). Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional non-refundable $145 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses. Transportation Help if you see a furbaby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
