I’m Petunia, and I’m looking for a family that will love me furever. I’m a dark red dachshund mix puppy. I have a unique black stripe, each on each of my hind legs. They are my racing stripes. My siblings and I were born on October 21, 2019. Mom was already living in a foster home. So, we have been lucky enough to have only known warmth, love, and full bellies.

I’m the smallest puppy in the litter. But, don’t let that fool you. I am a real little spitfire. I love to play rough and tumble games and chase my siblings. They have a hard time catching me because I am really fast and I can dart into places that they can’t. We play and play until we are so tired that we can hardly keep our eyes open. After a nap and a bite to eat, we are ready to play again. I am not house trained. My furever family and I will have to work on that together. I’d love to go to puppy training classes, and I know that I’d have a great time meeting new puppy friends.

My spay is scheduled for February 24, 2020. A few days after that, I will be ready to be taken home. I will be up-to-date on immunizations, including rabies. I will also be microchipped.

The adoption fee for Petunia is $350. If Petunia is adopted over a state line there will be a $45.00 charge for a health certificate (required by law).
