Needs a securely fence yard

Sully is an 11-year-old black and tan dachshund who was surrendered to Little Paws because his elderly owner could no longer care for him. Sully appears to be hearing impaired but that does not stop this little guy from enjoying life. He is very social and friendly with all people including children and is good with smaller dogs. Not comfortable around large dogs.  He likes going on walks, but his happy place is being outdoors more than anything. Sully is very prey driven and loves to dig so a securely fenced yard is a must have.  

This happy guy would do best with an active family, a securely fenced yard and a home with no shared walls (ex: townhome) as his bark is loud.

The adoption fee for Sully is $200.  If you would like to adopt Sully, please complete an adoption application at  Application | Little Paws Dachshund Rescue (littlepawsdr.org)

If he is adopted over a state  line,  there will be an additional charge for a health certificate (required by law) of anywhere between $45.00 and $100.00. The amount depends upon what the veterinarian charges LPDR.  

Transportation Help: If you see a furbaby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation.
