• Dash LOVES playing with his foster brother, a playful dog buddy is needed.
• Since he is still a puppy, Dash needs an adopter who can provide a consistent house training routine and exercise throughout the day.

Hi,

I’m Dash, an adorable 5-month-old healthy and happy chiweenie puppy. I weigh around 8 pounds and have a smooth black and tan coat. I’m a playful guy with loads of puppy energy. I am going to need lots of exercise and playtime. I am working on house training and still have accidents in the house. When I am let outside I know that I need to pee and poo right away. But, I still don’t understand that I can’t go in the house if the need arises. I will need someone who is home often enough to let me out every couple of hours to keep up my house training. I do well in my crate so long as the crate is covered. I love traveling in cars and am always ready for car trips.

I like men and women and dogs. I am very playful with dogs, and I want to chase cats too. Children make me nervous. I like to bark at other dogs when I am on a leash. I’m not aggressive though and love to play with them. My social skills need some work. I am sometimes a bit nippy and get put in my place by older dogs who do not appreciate my play. I bark at strange humans too. I just want to make sure that they notice me so that I can give them a sniff. I would benefit from basic puppy training. My foster mom says that I am super affectionate and love to give sweet puppy kisses. I am super playful and would LOVE a doggy buddy to play with.

The adoption fee for Dash is $400. If dogs are adopted over state lines, there is a $45.00 fee for each dog for a health certificate as required by law.

Transportation Help: If you see a furbaby that is a match for your family, don't let distance stand in your way of adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport or refer you to a paid transport.

Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by state departments of agriculture that may include a short stay in quarantine. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue and some dogs going to New England states may be charged an additional $175.00 to cover costs of compliance.
