Izzy is an 8-year-old “dachshund” mix which means she is not a purebred dachshund. We believe she is a mix of beagle, chihuahua, and dachshund. Izzy is as sweet as she looks and loves all adults. Because she has such good manners, she has free rein of her foster home. Her foster mom reports that Izzy is "very easy going and low maintenance."

She is dog friendly, great in a car, and house trained!  S he has shown herself to be a strong independent dog and will even sleep on her own.  She adores being outdoors, so a fenced back yard is her happy place.

The adoption fee for Izzy is $275.  If she is adopted over a state line there will be a $45.00 charge for a health certificate (required by law).  

Transportation Help: If you see a furbaby that is a match for your family, don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation.
