Diamond is an energetic 18-month-old short haired, cream-colored dachshund/chihuahua mix. She weighs about 10.5 pounds. The list of good things to say about Diamond is a long one. She is crate trained and house trained. She goes outdoors or on pee pads depending on the situation. She is a beginner when it comes to walking on leash and will need training to figure out how it is done properly. Diamond isn’t keen on car trips and will let you know by being a bit whiny. She settles down and can travel any distance.
Diamond gets along well other dogs and cats. She loves being around people. She would love her new family to have at least one person who stays home most of the time and a doggie buddy to play with. Diamond is happy to welcome strangers into her house. She would be a great addition to just about any family.
When asked what she loves most about Diamond, her foster mom told us that Diamond is a very sweet and loving girl. She has a beautiful temperament.
If you are looking for a young and energetic pup who gets along with everyone, Diamond might just be the girl for you. She is currently living in Charlotte, NC with her foster mom Karen. For additional information, please contact her at parakbl@aol.com.
