Things to know about Noel.  She would do best in a home where someone is available to let her out for potty breaks regularly throughout the day and to keep her company.  She prefers to be the only dog in the home and is a vocal girl and cannot live in a home with shared walls including apartments and townhouses.   When left alone she will cry, bark, and howl.

Noel is sweet, loving, good natured, and energetic. She needs a family that is active, will provide plenty of exercise and play, and will commit to ongoing basic training. Noel is one of the Christmas Chiweenies that was rescued from a hoarding situation. She is working on house training and is making good progress. Noel is crate trained and sleeps in her crate at night.

Noel has not had much experience walking on leash, but she is learning how much fun it is to explore the neighborhood. Noel isn’t an enthusiastic car passenger. She rides best when she can sit close to one of her people. Noel loves people! Young children are a bit overwhelming for her though. She would probably be fine with respectful gentle teenagers. When strangers come into the house, she barks to let them know she is there. Once she knows that the new people are kind and can be trusted, she wants to be friends. Noel loves the company of humans and is very unhappy when she is left alone. 

When we asked her foster mom what she likes most about Noel, she said, “Noel is SO loving. She rockets across the room to love on you the second you walk through the door and will happily stay glued to you all day."
