Patti is a happy little love. She’s 8.7lbs and 10-12 years old, with a sweet temperament and amazing personality. She prances when she’s excited and snoozes with her humans when content. She’s a big fan of car rides and cuddles so her ideal new life will be filled with both adventures and calm.

Environment

Patti is trained to use a pee pad during her waking hours but has accidents at night. She will travel in a (soft) crate but doesn’t sleep in one. In her new home, Patti will need a backyard with a fence. She can be very skittish and would be a flight risk if not fenced in. Patti would do just fine in a home with shared walls as she doesn’t really bark at all. 

Pets & People

Patti is easily startled by both dogs and people and would do best in a quiet home without children or too many visitors. She hides when guests arrive and is very cautious with children. Patti might be ok with other calm dogs, as she has no qualms around eating or guarding. She would like her new humans to be home more often than not, as her favorite thing is love. 

Health

She is currently taking some supplements which her foster is happy to pass along.

Patti walks well on a leash. She is very shy but warms up to her person very quick. When she eats, her food has to have water in it because she doesn't drink much from a water bowl. Patti has to have a special bath twice a week for her skin, which has improved vastly. She will use a puppy pad but she misses sometimes.  Patty sleeps a pretty good bit but she is an older dog. Patti loves to go on car rides and rides very well. She has the sweetest disposition when she gets excited. Patti will prance for you when you come home. She needs a person who is home more than away. She also needs a fenced in yard because she loves to run when she is outside. She gets nervous around too many people and prefers a quiet environment. She gets along well with older dogs but does not interact with younger dogs. Patti loves to burrow and loves to be on the couch with her person.
