Aly is a 10lb, 10 year old, chihuahua dachshund mix who is looking for a lot of love and infinite cuddles. She’s a very sweet, playful girl and would be a welcome addition to any home. She came to Little Paws as her prior owner sadly passed away. She’s been well loved and well looked after and needs a home where that can continue. She is accompanied by her buddy Oscar. While they are not completely bonded, we would love to see them adopted together.
Environment
Aly is house-trained and crate-trained but she is quite the escape artist! She can climb and clear a three foot gate!! If your home has a fence, it MUST be secure. Aly loves to chase a rabbit and will run for hours! Same when playing with other pups, so ideally her new home would have some furry siblings who enjoy playing too. She’s not at all motivated by food and is more of a grazer so she’s fed in a different room. Sometimes Aly barks but not persistently and would likely be ok in a home with shared walls.
Pets & People
Aly loves other dogs and would love a home with a doggy play companion(s). She’s very playful and loves to play and run with others. People adore her and she gives that right back. She is untested with children but unlikely to have problems. When it’s time to calm down Aly understands and is very respectful. She loves to curl up on a lap for cuddles when the day is done and—if allowed—come for snuggles in the big bed.
