Jackson is a sweet 9lb, 9yr old weenie looking for his new home! Jackson's owner sadly passed away, and when taken in by family he was being bullied by the 2 dogs in the home, so he was surrendered to Little Paws. Jackson is a true velcro pup who bonds strongly with one person, and wants to be with his human at all times. While he gets along just fine with other small dogs, he would be thrilled to be your one and only and have your undivided attention. At 9yrs old Jackson has some grey hairs, but he still has plenty of energy for long walks, barking at the FedEx man, and bouncing like a pogo stick at meal time!

Jackson doesn't seem to have been potty trained in his previous home, but he is working hard in his foster home to get on a schedule and is doing much better after a few weeks of consistency. He does wear belly bands to prevent any marking, but with time and patience we feel he can greatly improve!

Jackson loves long walks and does well on leash. He will bark at other people or dogs but is inquisitive and friendly once greeted. As he is a velcro pup, Jackson does have some separation anxiety and can be very vocal when left alone. For this reason, we feel he would do best in a single family home without shared walls. Jackson has not been observed with children, but due to his age we wouldn't be comfortable placing him in a home with small children-older respectful children would be fine.
