Adoption Fee: $275.00 + $35.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law). Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $125 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.
Hi, I’m Lacey. I had a rough start at LPDR. My first eight weeks of freedom were spent on crate rest. When I was spayed, I started to hurt all the time. We found out that I had an old back injury. I’m feeling a lot better now, but I have to be careful about jumping.
I’m so happy that, when I get excited, my hair stands up. At first, foster mom thought I didn’t like the other dog, but it is just something I do when I get excited. I’m on slow-kill for heart worms that I will need to finish, but this doesn't slow me down.
I love to be with you and will push my head under your hand to be scratched. I love my foster dad and foster furballs.
I love toys. I’m working on my leather addiction. Foster dad was a little upset that I used his Harley Davison leather belt as a chew toy but foster mom told him he should have not left it on the floor (LOL).

TRANSPORTATION HELP!
If you see a furbaby that would be a match for your family, please don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
