Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $125 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.

Pi, a 1 year old, 10 pound, dachshund,  is very playful and loves to play with toys as well as show you he can do tricks such as shake, play dead when you do “bang” with your hand like a gun, stands on his hind legs, sit.

He is good with small children.  He loved my 7 year old granddaughter and followed her everywhere when she was here.  He would especially do the tricks for her. He was also around my 22 month old grandson and had no issues or showed no signs of aggression.

Pi also seemed to migrate towards my husband.  He followed him to the bathroom, waiting patiently outside the door with a very quiet whine to let him in.  Then had to stay in there with him while he took a shower and then slept beside him on his side of the bed.
