Adoption Fee: $250.00 + $35.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law). Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $125 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.
Penny is a sweet little lady. Her first few years were spent in a crate having puppies because of this she is skittish. She has never lived in a home before. She would crawl to me when she first got here but is doing a lot better. When meeting new people, she is hesitant but loves being held. She loves to sleep in a bed under my desk and in the big bed at night. She likes to go into her crate if she is nervous as she feels safe there. She likes her fur sisters but would rather be with her human. She does the cutes little dance when it is time to eat. Penny is low positive for heart worms and has started slow kill heart worm treatment.
