Contact my foster mom, Rebecca at  Rgregory.613@gmail.com Adoption Fee:  $250.00 + $35.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law).  Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $125 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.

Henry is a sweet young man that is looking for love.  Don't let the age of 6 whole years fool you, there is still a lot of kick in his step and a lot of love to give.  The perfect match for him will want to give belly rubs, and understand that if you aren't doing it just right, he will adjust so you can hit that perfect spot!  If your hand gets tired, don't worry, Henry will love to gently climb into your lap and lay his head on your chest so that he can give you hugs!!!  When all else fails, he is content to just lay next to you.

When it comes time to eat, Henry has the best manners.  He is fed with his own bowl at the same time as his 7 foster siblings and waits until his bowl is put down.  He takes his time and doesn't gobble too quickly.  And has never tried to steal from the others! (He gets breakfast and dinner)  And he enjoys little snacks in between when he does good things.  At first he felt like he needed to snatch that treat quickly, but learned in just one short week that it was ok to wait his turn, that he wouldn't miss out.

He came to us from a shelter, so we do not know much about his past.  He immediately fell in love with his foster mom, but was a little nervous when he met his foster dad.  But that only lasted about 10 minutes before he realized that this man liked to give belly rubs, so they became instant friends.

Henry doesn't bark too much.  The times he has barked has been joining in with his foster siblings!  But he has the softest and sweetest bark that I have ever heard.  So soft, it is almost cute.

Henry sleeps in his crate at night.  After his last potty time and a little lovin, he goes right in and lays down with no fuss.  He will bark to wake you if he wakes up and needs to go potty again, but is eager to go back to sleep when done.

If you are looking for someone to share your life that just wants to love and be loved, then Henry is the guy for you!!!  He does enjoy playing with his siblings, so having a playmate would be great for him.  But, he may also be content to just have a human all to himself so that he can get ALL the love.

TRANSPORTATION HELP!
