My name is "Jimmy" and my rescue story truly exemplifies what rescue is all about. My mother (Angie) was dumped from the back of a pickup truck in the freezing cold outside a shelter in Texas while she was giving birth. Believe it or not my mom gave birth to 10 puppies (5 girls and 5 boys)and we all are here to tell our story. We were temporarily fostered in Texas until an awesome group of volunteers drove us over 1600 miles to our foster home in Maryland. My mom, Angie, is a dachshund/Lab mix. I am also a mix, but probably a dachshund/blue heeler mix. I am in search of a forever family that is willing to work on all the puppy basics including house training. If you are looking for a puppy please fill out an adoption application today. Adoption Fee: $350.00 + $35.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law). Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $125 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.
