My name is “Angie”. I am a beautiful young dachshund/Lab mix that was dumped from the back of a pickup truck in the freezing cold in Texas while giving birth. Some very special people rescued me. When my ten (10) puppies were old enough we were ALL transported 1600 miles to Maryland. They say “everything is bigger in Texas” and I guess I proved them right. I am pleased to report that we are all doing great! I am thoroughly enjoying 1:1 time with my foster mom as well as the chance to run around her big fenced in back yard. I really need a forever family that has the time to devote to a young active dog and would be willing to take me through some basic obedience classes. My foster mom keeps telling people that I would be great as someone’s running partner.
If you lead an active lifestyle and are looking for a buddy to accompany you on your runs, hikes or walks please complete and submit an adoption application.
For more information please email Angie's foster mom Kelly (kelly.blackstock@precisionac.com)
Adoption Fee: $275.00 + $35.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (
required by law). Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $125 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.
If you see a furbaby that would be a match for your family, please don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
