Hello humans! My name is Albert, and I'm a 4-year old proud dachshund. I grew up with six other siblings caged up outside my whole life, so I was really thrilled when Little Paws rescued me. I currently live with my foster brother who is teaching me how to live the life of a pampered pooch.

I'm a pretty mellow guy and I go with the flow. So whatever my foster brother does, I do; where ever he goes, I go. My foster mom says I'm a couch potato--it's true, I love to nap, especially when the sun's out. I'm a little shy with strangers at first but I'll happily run into your arms if you have a treat. In the last few weeks, I've already learned how to walk on a leash, go to the bathroom, play with other dogs, and be an all-around doxie (did I mention I'm a master napper?).

Because I lived with other dogs my whole life, I'd prefer if I had a brother or sister I can continue "ruff n' rolling" with. You can see my adventures on Instagram - check me out at @ruffnrolldogs to see all the shenanigans that my brother and I are up to! If you're interested in me, you can talk to my foster mom, Claire, at cswei08@gmail.com.

Adoption Fee:  $275.00 + $35.00 for a health certificate if going over state lines (required by law).  Dogs adopted in New England are subject to additional rules and regulations by the state departments of agriculture. Complying with these regulations is expensive for our rescue, and all dogs adopted in New England states are subject to an additional $125 fee to help cover a portion of these expenses.

TRANSPORTATION HELP! If you see a furbaby that would be a match for your family, please don’t let distance stand in the way of your adoption. LPDR can work with you to have a volunteer transport to assist with transportation or refer you to a paid transport.
